About the Role

Our client, a leading force in the Charity & Voluntary sector , is seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Officer to play a key strategic role in the development and management of their programmes in Reading . This senior position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for driving positive social change through effective programme delivery. You will be instrumental in shaping programme strategy, overseeing implementation, building partnerships, and ensuring the impact and sustainability of the organisation's initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of strategic programmes aligned with the organisation's mission.
• Oversee the management of programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation.

• Monitor programme performance, evaluate impact, and report on outcomes to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Significant experience in programme management or development, with a proven track record in the Charity & Voluntary sector .
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
• Proficiency in programme monitoring, evaluation, and reporting techniques.
• A Master's degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential if equivalent experience is held.
