Senior Project Manager (Construction)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in Leeds . This senior role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage large-scale developments from conception through to successful completion. You will be responsible for overseeing all project phases, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in construction project management , with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and risk management.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, ideally with professional accreditation (e.g., PMP, APM).
