Senior Project Manager - Energy Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in energy infrastructure projects to oversee critical developments from their Norwich base. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale projects, from conception and planning through to execution and commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This leadership role requires strong strategic thinking, excellent stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in developing major energy assets, including renewables and grid enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects .
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
• Oversee project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, ensuring performance and collaboration.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on energy infrastructure .
• Proven track record of successfully managing large capital projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract negotiation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
