Senior Project Manager - Offshore Wind

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in offshore wind development to join their team in Plymouth . This role is paramount to the successful execution of complex offshore wind farm projects from conception through to commissioning. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of high-value, large-scale renewable energy assets. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of offshore wind projects, from planning and development to construction and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including government bodies, investors, and local communities.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the offshore wind industry or a closely related renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of offshore wind technology, development cycles, and supply chains.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Prince2, PMP, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
