About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and proactive Senior Project Manager to spearhead pivotal projects within their dynamic organization based in Leicester . You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and successful closure. This role is integral to driving strategic initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget, using industry-standard project management tools.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in stakeholder management and ability to influence outcomes at various organizational levels.
