Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is searching for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead key strategic projects for their organisation, based in Oxford . This pivotal role requires an individual with a proven ability to manage complex projects, drive successful outcomes, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycles, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The role offers a hybrid working structure, combining office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful closure of diverse projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Monitor project progress and performance, reporting on key metrics and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive project management experience, with a strong track record in delivering complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
