Job Description
Sell bespoke solutions into schools and public sector organisations across the South East, managing projects from first visit to handover, with a strong base salary, uncapped new business commission and full support from an internal team.
Your client is a market-leading specialist providing tailored solutions to the education and public sectors. Growth means they need a Senior Sales Consultant to own the complete customer journey, build lasting relationships and close high-value projects.
What you'll earn:

What you'll do:
- Conduct site surveys and identify project requirements at schools, academies, local authorities and public sector organisations
- Deliver consultative sales presentations and propose tailored solutions
- Manage your pipeline using CRM, with proactive follow-up to move opportunities forward
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers in education and the public sector
- Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
- Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Hand over completed projects and provide customer training where needed
- Consistently hit and exceed your sales targets
Essential:
- Proven experience in consultative or solution-led sales
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and using CRM systems
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Target-driven, commercially aware and proactive
- Full UK driving licence and happy to travel across the South East
Nice to have:
- Experience selling into education, public sector or specification-led environments
- Background in design-led or technical sales
Location: South East (field based, with travel to customer sites)
