About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical inspections and detailed desktop appraisals of residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports, ensuring compliance with RICS standards and industry best practices.
• Provide expert advice to clients, including buyers, sellers, investors, and lending institutions, on property values and market trends.
• Research and analyze local market data, economic factors, and comparable sales to support valuation conclusions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals.
• Mentor junior valuers, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Valuer or Surveyor, with a strong understanding of the local Leicester property market.
• Full RICS qualification (MRICS or FRICS) or equivalent recognised professional body membership.
• In-depth knowledge of property valuation methodologies, market analysis, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in property valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Leicestershire region.
