About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Valuer to join their reputable firm in Derby . This role involves undertaking detailed valuations of residential properties for a variety of purposes, including sales, purchases, mortgage lending, and expert witness reports. You will be responsible for providing accurate, impartial, and professionally presented valuation advice to a diverse client base across Derbyshire . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive property valuations for residential properties across the Derby area and surrounding regions.
• Prepare high-quality, detailed valuation reports for a range of purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS standards.
• Provide expert advice and consultation to clients, including lenders, developers, and private individuals.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the local property market, including pricing trends, supply and demand dynamics, and new developments.
• Manage a portfolio of valuation instructions, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of reports.
• Uphold the highest professional standards and ethical conduct in all aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS in Valuation) or equivalent recognized professional qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential property valuation .
• Thorough knowledge of the Derbyshire property market and valuation best practices.
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant valuation software and MS Office Suite.
• A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to properties.
