Senior Python Engineer x2 - AI & Automation
Hybrid Financial Services £450-£650 per day (inside IR35)

Build AI solutions that make a real impact.

We're working with a technology consultancy that's helping some of the biggest organisations in financial services modernise the way they operate through AI and intelligent automation.

They're investing heavily in this area and are looking for an experienced Python Engineer to play a key role in designing and delivering scalable automation solutions that solve genuine business problems-not just proof of concepts.

If you enjoy building robust software, experimenting with the latest AI technologies and seeing your work deployed into production, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be working on

You'll be involved in developing intelligent automation solutions that streamline complex business processes using modern Python development practices and the latest advances in Generative AI.

Working alongside a highly technical team, you'll build APIs, integrate enterprise systems and develop AI-powered applications that are designed to operate reliably at scale.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to solution design and help shape how AI is adopted across large-scale client environments.

We'd love to speak to you if you have experience with:

• Commercial Python software development
• Building scalable backend applications and APIs
• Generative AI and Large Language Models
• AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar
• SQL and working with structured data
• Git and modern development practices including CI/CD

Experience within financial services or consultancy environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Why join?

This is an opportunity to work on projects where AI is already delivering tangible value rather than simply being explored. You'll join an experienced engineering team, work with modern technologies and have the chance to contribute to enterprise-scale solutions from design through to production.

If you're looking for a role that combines strong software engineering with the rapidly evolving world of AI, we'd love to hear from you.
