About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join their dedicated quality assurance team in Cambridge . This role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through robust testing strategies and processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with development teams to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with detailed reports and clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing QA expertise and feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python , JavaScript) for test automation.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
