Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join their dedicated team in Bristol . This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufactured products and production processes. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with development and production teams to resolve quality issues. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing products and processes.
• Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify software defects, production anomalies, and quality issues.
• Document, track, and manage defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and project managers to understand product requirements and quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback to improve product quality and development processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or product testing.
• Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for complex systems and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management software.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
