Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement quantitative models and algorithms for trading and investment strategies.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated risk management frameworks and tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, test hypotheses, and derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments efficiently.
• Perform back-testing and performance attribution analysis for trading strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest academic research and market developments in quantitative finance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Quantitative Analyst in asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, machine learning, and stochastic calculus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or R, with experience in relevant libraries.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and portfolio theory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , fast-paced, and collaborative setting in the Oxford area.
