Senior Quantity Surveyor — Peterborough
Fairmead are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, for a long-term scheme in Peterborough.
Overview of role
- Location: Peterborough
- Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 plus package
- Permanent, site-based on a major infrastructure project
- Running the commercial side of the project day to day — valuations, CEs, cost reporting, subcontract procurement and final accounts
- Managing the NEC4 contract with the client and supply chain, and keeping the early warning and compensation event process on top of itself
Requirements
- Proven Senior QS experience with a main or civils contractor
- NEC4 Option C and Option E experience essential
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Comfortable running the commercial function on a project without a Managing QS over you every day
- Full UK driving licence
