Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deploy RAN solutions, including 4G/LTE and 5G technologies.
• Optimise network performance through regular analysis of KPIs and drive testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex RAN issues, ensuring service quality and network availability.
• Evaluate and integrate new RAN technologies and vendor solutions.
• Collaborate with core network teams to ensure seamless integration of RAN with the wider network.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, and best practices for RAN engineering.

Requirements

• Significant experience (6+ years) in RAN engineering within the telecoms sector.
• Deep understanding of cellular network principles, including RF planning, propagation, and optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with 4G/LTE and 5G NR RAN features and architecture.
• Familiarity with major RAN vendors' equipment and software.
• Proficiency in network simulation and analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
