About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their fully remote team, focusing on opportunities within the Manchester area and the North West. This role is critical for identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investments across various asset classes. You will be instrumental in developing investment strategies, conducting financial modelling, and presenting compelling recommendations to senior management and investment committees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment, driving informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential real estate investment opportunities, including market, financial, and legal analysis.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to forecast investment performance, including ROI, IRR, and NPV.
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential investors.
• Monitor existing portfolio performance, identifying risks and opportunities for value enhancement.
• Analyze market data, economic trends, and demographic shifts impacting the real estate investment landscape.
• Collaborate with acquisition teams, legal counsel, and asset managers to structure and close deals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis , finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record in financial modelling, valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, comparable sales), and investment strategy development.
• Strong knowledge of various real estate asset classes (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with data analysis tools and real estate databases.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and communicate complex financial information clearly in a remote setting.
