About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead their Construction and Engineering recruitment desk in Bristol . You will be instrumental in developing new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships within these dynamic sectors. This role involves sourcing and placing key personnel, from site engineers and project managers to quantity surveyors and architectural staff. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for construction and engineering roles, including business development.
• Identify and engage with top-tier talent within the construction and engineering fields.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and assess candidates' technical qualifications and experience.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the construction and engineering industries.
• Negotiate offers and manage the candidate onboarding process.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, project pipelines, and key players in the construction and engineering markets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in recruitment consultancy, with a proven track record in Construction or Engineering recruitment.
• Demonstrated ability to win new business and manage client accounts effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering roles, terminology, and qualifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy desk in the South West England region.
