About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant focused on the Engineering sector. This position offers a fully remote working arrangement, allowing you to excel in placing engineering talent across the UK without geographical constraints. You will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and sourcing highly skilled engineers for a range of industries, including manufacturing, aerospace, and automotive. Your expertise will be vital in supporting the technical workforce needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of engineering clients, understanding their technical staffing requirements.
• Execute comprehensive search strategies to identify and engage with specialist engineering candidates.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and technical assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
• Drive business development initiatives to secure new clients and projects within the engineering recruitment market.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices in engineering recruitment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Engineering Recruitment , with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil).
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage senior client relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and online sourcing tools for a remote role.
