Senior Remote Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Remote Industrial Engineer to drive significant operational improvements across their dispersed business units. Operating from a remote location, you will be at the forefront of optimizing complex manufacturing and logistical operations, applying advanced industrial engineering techniques. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead substantial process transformation projects virtually. You will collaborate with global teams, develop innovative solutions, and champion best practices in efficiency and productivity from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale process improvement projects impacting multiple sites.
• Develop and deploy advanced analytical models to optimize supply chains, production planning, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and cross-functional teams in adopting lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct remote feasibility studies and financial analyses for significant operational investments.
• Innovate and implement solutions for complex operational challenges in a fully remote capacity.
• Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on process optimization and operations management.
• Expert knowledge of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex, long-term projects in a virtual environment.
• Advanced proficiency in simulation, data analytics, and visualization tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, suited for remote collaboration.
