Senior Research Scientist - Biotechnology

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage biotechnology research projects , from experimental design to data analysis and interpretation.
• Develop and optimize novel assays and experimental protocols for target validation and drug discovery.
• Analyze complex biological data sets, generate insightful conclusions, and present findings to scientific leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in biotechnology and relevant therapeutic areas, identifying new research opportunities.
• Collaborate with external academic partners and CROs to advance research objectives and ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• PhD in Biotechnology , Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience with a proven track record in drug discovery or therapeutic development.
• Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques, cell culture, protein biochemistry , and advanced analytical methods.
• Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting complex scientific data.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and good laboratory practices (GLP) is advantageous.
