Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement computational strategies for analyzing large-scale biological data, including genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics.
• Develop and validate predictive models to identify drug targets and biomarkers.
• Collaborate closely with experimental biologists, chemists, and clinicians to interpret results and guide research directions.
• Contribute to the development of new algorithms and software tools for biological data analysis.
• Present research findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a culture of scientific excellence and knowledge sharing within the remote team.

Requirements

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in computational biology research .
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl, and experience with relevant bioinformatics libraries.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and high-performance computing environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting .
