Senior Research Scientist - Oncology

This key role will focus on the discovery and development of novel cancer therapies, investigating critical cellular pathways and therapeutic targets. You will lead research projects, design innovative experiments, and mentor junior scientists, contributing significantly to the advancement of our client's oncology pipeline. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate novel anti-cancer compounds and modalities.
• Investigate key signaling pathways involved in cancer cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis.
• Analyze and interpret complex biological data, including genomic, proteomic, and cell-based assay results.
• Lead research projects, manage timelines, and ensure the successful progression of discovery initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and translational research.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications, patent applications, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

• PhD in Oncology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant post-doctoral or industry experience in cancer research.
• Demonstrated expertise in cancer biology, with a strong understanding of cellular signaling pathways and drug resistance mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with techniques such as cell culture, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and various oncology assays.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
