Senior Reservoir Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis, supporting their extensive operations within the Oil & Gas industry . This role is crucial for evaluating hydrocarbon reserves, developing optimal production strategies, and contributing to the economic success of exploration and development projects. You will work virtually with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams, providing expert analysis and recommendations from your remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir engineering studies, including data analysis, performance monitoring, and simulation.
• Develop and optimize production and injection strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and economic value.
• Perform reserve estimations and resource assessments according to industry standards (e.g., SPE, SEC).
• Utilize reservoir simulation software to model fluid flow and predict reservoir performance.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and economic evaluations for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment to support field development planning and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Tempest) and data analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid dynamics, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate technical concepts clearly in a remote setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
