Senior Reservoir Engineer - Upstream Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive reservoir management plans, including production forecasting and optimization strategies.
• Conduct advanced reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software to predict reservoir behavior and evaluate development options.
• Perform data analysis, including well logs, core data, and production history, to build and refine reservoir models.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior reservoir engineers and geoscientists.
• Collaborate with drilling, production, and economics teams to integrate reservoir insights into field development plans and operational decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering , preferably within the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE).
• Strong understanding of reservoir characterization techniques, fluid properties, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
