About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their dynamic team based in the heart of the UK's oil and gas industry in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reservoir characterization and simulation studies using industry-standard software.
• Develop and implement optimized field development plans and production strategies.
• Perform decline curve analysis and volumetric calculations to estimate reserves and resources.
• Identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and monitor their effectiveness.
• Mentor junior reservoir engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related geoscience discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis tools .
• Strong understanding of reservoir physics, fluid properties, and production operations.
• Experience in analyzing production data and implementing well interventions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
