Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their esteemed team in Oxford . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reservoir characterization, performance analysis, and economic evaluations using advanced analytical techniques.
• Develop and implement effective reservoir management plans, including production forecasting, well intervention strategies, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.
• Utilize reservoir simulation software to model fluid flow, predict reservoir behavior, and assess the impact of different development scenarios.
• Collaborate with geologists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to integrate geological insights and operational constraints into reservoir models.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and project teams.
• Mentor and guide junior reservoir engineers, fostering technical development and sharing knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering or science discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong background in the oil and gas sector .
• Proficiency with industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE, CMG Suite) and data analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of reservoir physics, fluid properties, reservoir geomechanics, and well test analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex reservoir data and develop sound engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
