About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Residential Architect to join their thriving practice in Bradford . This role involves leading the design and development of high-quality residential projects, ranging from bespoke individual homes to larger multi-unit developments. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring innovative design, technical excellence, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in residential architecture and a keen eye for detail, working within a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and design exploration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for a variety of residential projects, from initial concept sketches to detailed construction drawings.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional and aesthetically pleasing living spaces.
• Prepare and present design proposals, utilizing 3D modeling and visualization tools to effectively communicate ideas.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, planning policies, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Architect with a recognized professional degree (e.g., RIBA).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential architecture , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit , AutoCAD, and visualization tools.
• In-depth knowledge of UK planning regulations and building standards for residential developments.
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials relevant to the residential sector.
