Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection, providing expert advice and ensuring a high level of service.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain stock levels by replenishing shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise with professionalism and efficiency.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with preference for candidates with supervisory or senior assistant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with experience using POS systems.
- A proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn new skills in the Coventry retail sector.
