About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Senior Retail Associate to join their vibrant team in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this role, you will be a key point of contact for customers, providing expert product knowledge, exceptional service, and support to the store management team. You will play a crucial role in creating an outstanding shopping experience, contributing to sales targets, and helping to foster a positive store culture. This position is ideal for an experienced retail professional who enjoys direct customer interaction and has a knack for merchandising and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and resolving issues effectively.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments.
• Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to store visual merchandising efforts, ensuring products are attractively displayed and the store is well-organized.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations and team leadership.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure retail environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with at least 1 year as a Senior Retail Associate or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including availability for weekend shifts.
