Senior Risk Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Risk Analyst to join their established financial services team. This is a fully remote position, offering the successful candidate the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring various financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, to ensure the stability and integrity of the company's operations. This role is vital in developing and implementing risk management strategies to protect the organisation's assets and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across different business functions and financial products.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and frameworks.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and prepare regular risk reports for senior management.
• Analyse financial data to identify potential trends and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in risk management or a related analytical role within financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment.
