About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Secondary School Mathematics Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Coventry . In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the Mathematics department, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and ensuring students achieve their full potential in this crucial subject. You will play a key role in curriculum development, staff training, and fostering a passion for mathematics among secondary school students. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the teaching and learning of Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-Level.
• Develop and implement an innovative and effective Mathematics curriculum.
• Manage and mentor a team of Mathematics teachers, fostering professional growth.
• Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress, identifying areas for intervention.
• Promote a positive and challenging learning environment where students excel in mathematics .

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Significant experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level, with leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of current educational best practices and assessment methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
