Lead Installation & Commissioning Engineer – Access Control & Security Systems

Overview: We’re seeking a skilled and driven Lead Installation & Commissioning Engineer to take charge of deploying, maintaining, and optimising advanced site security and access control systems. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with leadership, mentoring, and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead installation and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems to high technical standards.

*

Act as the technical escalation point for complex system issues and provide expert-level support.

*

Mentor and develop junior engineers and apprentices.

*

Ensure compliance with all H&S and quality assurance procedures.

*

Collaborate with project managers to deliver seamless installations and handovers.

*

Deliver user and super-user training on-site or remotely.

*

Support continuous improvement, stock management, and QA checks.

About You

*

Proven experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining access control and CCTV systems.

*

Strong background in field-based engineering with customer-facing experience.

*

Confident leading teams and mentoring others.

*

Able to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

*

Competent with Microsoft systems and general IT tools.
