About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and strategic Senior SEO Specialist to join their marketing team, working remotely. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced search engine optimization strategies to increase organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and improve conversion rates for their digital properties. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO best practices. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and digital marketers to ensure SEO is integrated into all aspects of their online presence, contributing to a high-performing, results-oriented remote marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities and inform content strategy.
- Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues that impact search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing content and guide the creation of new, SEO-friendly content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and SEO trends, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Provide regular reports on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of successfully increasing organic traffic and improving search rankings.
- Expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO auditing tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO concepts, including site speed optimization, schema markup, and mobile-friendliness.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant SEO platforms.
- Experience with content optimization and working alongside content creators.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
