About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and organic search performance from their Leeds base. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies. You will collaborate closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure all digital efforts are optimized for search engines, driving qualified organic traffic and improving conversion rates for our client's digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage effective SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and traffic.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, site structure, and internal linking for maximum search engine visibility.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building, outreach, and digital PR initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure continuous optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of dedicated experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
- Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, schema markup, and crawlability.
- Experience with content marketing and its role in SEO strategy.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
