About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for their digital presence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase website traffic, and enhance user engagement. Based in Stoke-on-Trent , you will work closely with the content and development teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for search engines. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned SEO professional to make a significant impact and lead SEO efforts within the creative and digital department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink audits to inform SEO strategies.
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, and site architecture for search engines.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO improvements, ensuring site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a demonstrated track record of successful SEO campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site audits, crawlability, indexing, and site speed optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous for technical SEO implementation.
