About the Role
Our client is looking for a data-driven and strategic Senior SEO Specialist to join their marketing team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is integral to enhancing organic search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and improving website performance. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, conducting in-depth keyword research, performing technical SEO audits, and implementing on-page and off-page optimization tactics. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility and traffic.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexation, and mobile-friendliness.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, internal linking, and user experience to improve search engine rankings.
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach and content promotion strategies.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics (e.g., rankings, traffic, conversion rates) using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush, providing actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of improving search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and industry trends.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
- Strong written communication skills for content optimization and outreach.
