About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Senior SEO Specialist to join their growing digital team in Plymouth . This role is vital in enhancing our client's organic search visibility and driving qualified traffic to their websites. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, encompassing technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page link building. As a key player in the Plymouth -based digital marketing team, you will analyze search trends, monitor website performance, and collaborate with content and development teams to implement SEO best practices and achieve measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits and work with the development team to implement necessary changes (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, schema markup).
- Develop and execute on-page optimization strategies, including meta tag optimization, content structure, and internal linking.
- Build high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach and relationship building.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush, providing regular reports with actionable insights.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SEO, with a demonstrable track record of improving organic search performance.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Experience with website analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategy.
- Strong understanding of content marketing and its role in SEO.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
