Senior Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to oversee a major construction project in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves leading on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all site personnel, subcontractors, and resources, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations on the construction site in Aberdeen .
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Supervise and direct all site staff, subcontractors, and trades, ensuring work is completed to specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address site-specific issues and ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building materials, and relevant regulations.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices on construction sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant construction management qualifications or certifications (e.g., SMSTS).
