About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Site Manager to oversee a significant construction project in Leicester . You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site activities, including scheduling, coordinating trades, and ensuring progress against project timelines.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Oversee the quality control process, ensuring all work meets specifications and building codes.
• Manage site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient utilisation and cost control.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve site issues and facilitate smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, incident logs, and delivery notes.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction sector, with at least 5 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate a diverse workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent trade qualification.
