About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Site Manager to oversee a significant construction project in Leicester . You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is pivotal in coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations, contributing to the successful delivery of a high-profile development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project schedules and specifications.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols across the construction site, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
• Ensure all work carried out adheres to building regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Demonstrable knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations , and site management best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Relevant construction management qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.
