About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Smart Contract Developer to join their growing team in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, testing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts for various blockchain applications. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of our decentralized systems, working closely with product owners and blockchain architects. Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy secure and gas-efficient smart contracts using Solidity or other relevant languages.
Conduct thorough code audits and security assessments of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Optimize smart contract performance and gas usage for various blockchain networks.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate smart contracts with user interfaces and applications.
Contribute to the design and architecture of blockchain-based solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum.
Proficiency in Solidity and experience with smart contract development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
Strong understanding of blockchain principles, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and decentralized application architecture.
Experience with security best practices for smart contract development and auditing.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical details clearly in Belfast .
