About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to lead their social media presence from their Wolverhampton office. This role is essential for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage the target audience, and drive traffic and conversions. You will be responsible for managing all social media channels, creating compelling content, monitoring trends, and analyzing performance to optimize campaigns. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator with a deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and high-quality content (text, images, video) tailored to each platform and audience.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and audience engagement opportunities.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, fostering community interaction.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for campaign optimization.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing online communities.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative copywriting.
- Ability to develop and execute effective social media advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand voice and ability to maintain it consistently across all channels.
