About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to lead their social media presence entirely remotely. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across all relevant platforms. This role demands a deep understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and analytics, enabling you to craft compelling content, manage campaigns, and foster meaningful interactions with our online community, significantly contributing to our brand's digital footprint and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives and marketing goals.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and high-quality content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and user-generated content, responding in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance optimization.
- Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Build and nurture online communities, fostering positive engagement and brand advocacy among followers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and emerging platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for engagement and growth.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills with a creative flair.
- Ability to develop data-driven strategies and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong understanding of paid social media advertising principles and execution.
