Senior Software Developer - .NET

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in the .NET framework to join their established team in Nottingham . You will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications, contributing to key projects that drive the company's technological advancements. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using C# and the .NET framework (e.g., .NET Core).
• Develop and maintain robust APIs (RESTful) and backend services to support application functionality.
• Work with SQL Server or other relational databases to design schemas and optimize data access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA testers, and other developers.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using the .NET framework.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including database design and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
