Senior Software Engineer - Backend & API Development

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Optimize application performance, database interactions, and system architecture for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, C#).
• Extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for remote work.
