Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

About the Role

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Develop and manage robust APIs and microservices that support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of user data.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js).
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
