About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join their fully remote engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic for our client's innovative products and services. This position offers the chance to work on complex challenges, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers within a collaborative, distributed environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Develop and manage robust APIs that power our client's user-facing applications and integrate with third-party services.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to establishing coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in backend software development .
Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and data structures.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
