This globally recognised engineering firm is hiring for a senior software engineer to join their Cambridge based team developing software used across the organisation, it’s clients and customers. Their enviable track record of innovation is hard won through a deliberate focus on learning, collaboration and inclusivity. As a team you will design and implement secure and resilient cloud platforms built on top of the Microsoft stack. You will bring with you a record of delivering high-quality software across cloud and service-based architectures.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience developing microservices or service-oriented architectures including REST API design and ideally a modern JavaScript front-end framework
- Strong skills with the Microsoft tech stack (C#, .NET, Azure, etc)
- Good understanding of web application authentication and access control i.e. OAuth
- Wide knowledge of modern development practices including database design, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, containers, etc
- Openness to AI-assisted development tools
Offices are located just to the south of Cambridge with good road and rail links. They operate a hybrid working pattern with two days per week homeworking. Remunerations are good with an excellent set of benefits including 28 paid days holiday (plus bank holidays), Bupa medical insurance and a bonus scheme.
