Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and mix high-quality sound effects, ambient environments, and musical elements for various projects.
- Collaborate remotely with directors, game designers, and artists to define and achieve the sonic vision.
- Record, edit, and process audio assets, ensuring optimal quality and performance across different platforms.
- Develop and maintain detailed audio documentation and asset libraries.
- Mentor junior sound designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of audio pipelines and workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Sound Designer in games, film, or interactive media.
- Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
- Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and signal processing.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional audio assets in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective virtual teamwork.
