About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Sound Designer to join their fully remote audio team. This position is critical for crafting immersive and impactful sonic landscapes for a variety of digital projects, including video games, interactive experiences, and multimedia content. You will work closely with game designers, directors, and other audio specialists to define and execute the audio vision, ensuring a cohesive and compelling auditory experience. Key Responsibilities

• Design, record, edit, and implement high-quality sound effects, ambiences, and Foley for interactive and linear media.
• Collaborate with project teams to define and achieve the overall audio direction and aesthetic.
• Implement audio assets into game engines or other relevant software using middleware solutions.
• Mix and master audio elements to ensure clarity, impact, and consistency across different platforms.
• Provide creative and technical guidance to junior sound designers and external sound vendors.
• Stay updated on the latest audio technologies, techniques, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Sound Design for games or related interactive media.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse sound design work and demonstrating expertise in audio mixing and implementation.
• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Reaper, or Logic Pro.
• Experience with game audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) and game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Excellent understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and audio engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
